Treasured Moments
I LOVE being a mom, especially during those treasured moments like tonight when D woke up with an earache. He wanted to be held and comforted. I felt so bad for him, but rocking him in the dimly lit room while he gazed up at me with those sweet little eyes -- precious! It was like he was just watching me love him. And his eyes said it all, "Thank you, mommy, for making me feel better and for loving me. I need you." Priceless! He is my little angel! <3
And I like that every time I hear my recliner squeak (with each rock), I am reminded of treasured moments like these.
